Summary

a well developed ridge on the calicular surface enclosing a valley system in meandroid corals, particularly in Colpophyllia. Note that colline in this sense contains wall structures and therefore differs from its stricter meaning (see separate entry Colline II) in which they are absent. See also Colline II, Wall.
