Summary

adj. Parathecal a wall structure consisting of regularly superimposed dissepiments, generally arched strongly upwards in the marginal zone of the corallite, and often also thickened by stereome. Septa of adjacent corallites may or may not pass confluently through the parathecal zone. (cf. also aphroid rugosans)
