Type Locality: Dogger Poste optique Tatahouine (Tunisia)
The holotype is a piece of colony partly polished. A new polishing was realized in order to get a longitudinal section.
Description
Massive meandroid corallum, with long sinuous series. Distinct centres. Collines tholiform without ambulacrum. Radial elements irregularly perforated, free or anastomosing, subequal in thickness, confluent. Distal edge not observed. Pennular structure, not very regular. Trabecules perpendicular to the distal margin. Inner distal edge with well detached trabeculae filling the columellar space. Synapticulotheca. Synapticules present but common only in the wall zone. Endotheca made of tabuloid dissepiments that follow the relief of collines and valleys.
Remarks
Only one nominal species known.
