Classification
Diagnosis
Corallum solitary, ceratoid to subcylindrical, firmly attached; epithecate basally; septa arranged normally; inner edges of S3-4 dentate to laciniate; columella discrete and spongy; azooxanthellate.

Remarks
This genus and family were monographed by Cairns (2001), which included a phylogenetic analysis based on morphology. Eleven species, only one of which is fossil.
