Lepiconus Stoppani, 1857:417 is a nomen dubium (unavailable).
Genus founded on a taxon represented by natural casts of a series of coral calices named Lepiconus bassi Stoppani, 1857 and figured in Stoppani 1862: pl. 27:10-14. The figures do not present all features necessary for diagnosing the taxon.
