Classification
Diagnosis
Astraeoid. Radial elements costoseptal, built of thick trabeculae in divergent, asymmetrical system. Lateral septal faces with menianes with their edges directed upwards. Endotheca dissepimental. Axial structure and wall lacking. Increase intracalicular, asymmetrical division.

Comparisons
From astraeoid Palaeastraea Kuehn differs in septa with thick-trabecular microstructure and faces with menianes.
Remarks
Only one species is known
