Type Locality: Middle Bathonian, Coral Bed, Jumara Dome, Kachchh, India
he genus has not been revised ever since Gregory recorded from Kachchh.
Diagnosis
Corallum colonial, plocoid, calices distinct marked by septoparathecal wall, both intra- and intercalicular increase, costo-septa compact, confluent, septal surface ornamented with granules. Endothecal and exothecal dissepiments present. Columella absent.
Comparisons
Gregory has compared this genus with Astrocoenia and Isastraea. From the former it differs by absence of columella and it differs from both by its plocoid growth instead of cerioid.
Remarks
The detail of septal microstructure of this genus is not known.
