Junior subjective synonym of Pamirastraea Melnikova, 1975. In the literature these corals may be found among Isastrea Milne Edwards et Haime.

Type Specimen: Lectotype; BSPG AS XII 14; Not Traced; Dry Preserved

Type Locality: Hammerkogel ( = Kessekwand-Rohrmoos), Northern Calcareous Alps. Rhaetian, Late Triassic
