Type Locality: Recent: Sulu Sea, Philippines, 907 m.

Classification

Diagnosis

Corallum solitary, bowl-shaped, free; septotheca costate, each C1-2 bearing a series of delicate, elongate spines; pali in a crown before penultimate cycle; columella papillose.

Comparisons

Differs from Stephanocyathus (Odontocyathus) in having costal spines along entire thecal edge, and in having only one cycle of paliform lobes.
