4 syntypes known, the figured specimen is lost.
Classification
Description
Dendroid corallum with cylindrical corallites. Increase typically sympodial, extracalicinal, lateral and more or less regularly alternate. Branches covered by granulations of a trabecular peritheca. Radial elements are compact costosepta. Major septa may anastomose to the columella. Minor septa free. Distal edge not ornamented, inner edge with auriculae, lateral faces with some acute granules, no palis. Clear radial symmetry (not hexameral in every species). Bilateral symmetry sometimes present. Columella styliform, synapticulae absent, wall of unknown nature (by analogy a wall similar to Heliocoenia is expected).
Remarks
24 Jurassic and 6 Cretaceous nominal species but this does include the two Jurassic and one Cretaceous nominal species of Evhelia
