Type Locality: Callovian of Amboromihanto (Madagascar)

Description

The holotype of the type-species is a piece of branch of a ramose colony or a columnar plocoid coral. Radial elements are compact free straight bicuneiform costo-septa perfectly arranged in hexameral symmetry. Extracalicular increase. Costae non confluent, more numerous than septa. S2 have generally no septal part. No columella. Endotheca made of large tabulae as well as the peritheca. The endothecal tabulae swell in the columellar space. Wall of unknown nature with a vertical inner side. No channel between the corallites. No synapticule.

Remarks

Only one specimen known.
