Diagnosis

Colonial, massive, plocoid. Gemmation extracalicinal, marginal and intracalicinal. Costosepta compact, exsert, laminar. One major septum developed in some corallites. Costae strongly developed. Columella absent. Exothecal dissepiments large, vesicular to tabulate. Wall septothecal.
