Aldrichia Vaughan, 1900, p. 71 is junior synonym (available and invalid), see Platytrochus Milne Edwards and Haime, 1848, p. 246.

Also a junior homonym of Aldrichia Coquillett, 1894, the name replaced as Aldrichiella by Vaughan (1903)

Aldrichia elegans Vaughan, 1900, p. 71, pl. 4, figs. 15-19; Monotypy

Type Specimen: Syntype; USNM 158010, 66601; Verified; Dry Preserved

Type Locality: Late Eocene (Jacksonian): Mississippi and Louisiana
