Type Specimen: Holotype; ; Not Traced; Unknown

Type Locality: Upper Santonian of Austria (Gosau Group).

The type material of the type species is housed at NHMW under 1864/0040/1321.

Diagnosis

Like Dimorphomeandra Alloiteau, but corallites arranged cerio-thamnasterioid.

Distribution

  • Southern Europe, Central Europe, Eastern Europe, South Asia; Early Cretaceous - Late Cretaceous
  • North Africa; Late Cretaceous
