Type Locality: Recent: off Great Barrier Reef, 476-531 m

[=Deltocyathus stellulatus Cairns, 1984]. Type species best described by Cairns (1984).

Classification

Diagnosis

Corallum solitary, free, discoidal, increasing by transverse division; base flat, showing attachment scar; costae granular; projecting costal spines associated with C1; pali before all but last cycle; columella papillose.

Comparisons

Similar to Deltocyathus but reproducing by transverse division.
