Complexastraeopsis Sikharulidze, 1985, p. 29 is junior homonym (unavailable), see Complexastraeopsis Morycowa, 1974, p. 468.

The genus Complexastraeopsis Sikharulidze, 1985, shows all characteristics of the genus Complexastrea d'Orbigny, 1850, and is, therefore, considered a junior synonym of Complexastrea.

Complexastraeopsis coronata Sikharulidze, 1985, p. 29; Original Designation Sikharulidze, 1985, p. 29

Type Specimen: Syntype; ; Not Traced; Unknown

Type Locality: Hauterivian of Georgia.

The type material is housed at GIN (Tbilisi) under 2/103.

Distribution
