Type Specimen: Holotype; ; Verified; Unknown

Type Locality: Eocene(Lutetian) of France (Courtagnon).

The holotype of the type species is housed at MB (Berlin) under MB.K.4397.

Classification

Diagnosis

Colonial, dendroid. Gemmation extracalicinal. Corallites united basally by dense, smooth coenosteum. Costosepta compact, thin, closely granulate. Pali present before second cycle septa, forming a crown around the columella. Columella spongy-trabecular. Wall thick, formed by concentric layers.
