Type Locality: Cenomanian of Spain (Alloz, Navarra, between Pamplona and Logrono)

Alloiteau (1956-60, p. 80) only listed the name Batallerophyllia catalaunensis without providing any description or illustration, but mentioned that this material was collected from Cenomanian sediments of Alloz (-Navarra).
