Diagnosis
Colonial. Gemmation generally extracalicinal, rarely intracalicinal, or due to Taschenknospung. Septa formed by small trabeculae, dentate laterally, bilateral or radial. Lonsdaleoid septa present or absent. Columella absent. Endothecal dissepiments vesicular, developed in one or two zones. Exothecal dissepiments large, vesicular or tabulate, well developed, generally dense.
