Type Locality: Lower Albian of Texas Lower Glen Rose Limestone), USA.
The holotype of the type species is housed at TMM (Austin, Texas) under UT-11489.
Classification
Comparisons
Like Stelloria but costae more strongly developed and axial septal ends weaker, terminating into trabecular extensions. In contrast to Wells' original description, in Tiarasmilia dissepiments are not absent but seem to be sparsely present.
