Type Specimen: Holotype; USNM 97308; Verified; Dry Preserved

Type Locality: Recent: Samar Sea, Philippines, 208 m

Diagnosis

Corallum colonial, branches arranged in sympodial fashion; columella and endotheca lacking; axial edges of all septa dentate.

Comparisons

Cairns and Zibrowius (1997) described this genus but with uncertain family affinities, but perhaps closest to the Rhizangiidae.

Remarks

Only one Recent species.
