Type Specimen: Holotype; ; Verified; Unknown
Type Locality: Lower Aptian of southern France (Sault, Vaucluse).
The holotype of the type species is housed at UJ (Krakow) under Prov. 70.
Classification
Diagnosis
Solitary, subcylindroid-trochoid. Calice circular in outline. Calicinal pit elongate. Costosepta compact, smooth or finely granulated laterally. Lonsdaleoid septa present. Columella absent. Wall parathecal or septothecal. Endothecal dissepiments tabulate. Epitheca thin.
Remarks
Affinities: Similar to Rhipidomeandra but forms solitary corallum.
