Type Specimen: Holotype; MNHN R10960; Verified; Dry Preserved

Type Locality: Santonian of France (Mazaugues, Var).

Classification

Diagnosis

Calices arranged in a phaceloid manner, resulting from intratentacular budding; costae thick, porous, and granular; septa irregularly arranged or in a Pourtales plan; columella trabecular.

Remarks

Cairns (2001) did not consider this genus to be a dendrophylliid, but based on additional material and re-examination of the type material, Baron-Szabo (1999, 2002) considered it to be a dendrophylliid.
