Porosmilia Fromentel, 1860, p. 46 is a not a scleractinian.

Porosmilia de Fromentel, 1860 is described in the Treatise part. E vol.3 (Rigby et al. 2004) as an "unrecognizable supposed sponge". Nevertheless the name is available and Porosmilia Umbgrove is consequently a junior homonym.

Porosmilia martini Fromentel in Martin p. 95, pl. 7 fig. 28; Unknown

Type Specimen: Holotype; ; Not Traced; Unknown

Type Locality: Sinemurian (Lower Jurassic) of Semur (France)

The genus was described two times in 1860: in "Introduction à l'étude des éponges fossiles" by Fromentel, p. 46 and in "Paléontologie stratigraphique de l'infra-lias du département de la Côte d'Or" by Fromentel in Martin p. 94.
