Type Locality: Lower Cenomanian of France (Charente-Maritime).
The holotype of the type species is housed at MNHN (Paris) under R.10917.
Classification
Diagnosis
Colonial, massive, cerioid. Gemmation intracalicinal, temporarily resulting in di- or tricentric condition. Corallites isolated or arranged in short series, separated by tectiform collines. Septa confluent, subcompact, granulated, anastomosing occasionally. Columella trabecular, spongy-papillose. Synapticulae present. Endothecal dissepiments sparse. Wall synapticulothecal, incomplete.
