Type Locality: Upper Coniacian of France (Les Corbieres, Aude).

The lectotype of the type species is housed at MNHN (Paris) under M00443.

Synonyms

Diagnosis

Colonial. Younger specimens flabellate, becoming meandroid in later ontogenetical stages. Gemmation intracalicinal, resulting in a single meandroid calicinal series. Costosepta compact, arranged bilaterally. Septal margins granular. Endothecal dissepiments well-developed, occurring throughout the whole corallum. Columella lamellar, generally continuous. Wall parathecal to septoparathecal. Multilamellar epithecal wall can be present.
