Diagnosis
Colonial. Younger specimens flabellate, becoming meandroid in later ontogenetical stages. Gemmation intracalicinal, resulting in a single meandroid calicinal series. Costosepta compact, arranged bilaterally. Septal margins granular. Endothecal dissepiments well-developed, occurring throughout the whole corallum. Columella lamellar, generally continuous. Wall parathecal to septoparathecal. Multilamellar epithecal wall can be present.
