Type Specimen: Holotype; ; Verified; Unknown

Type Locality: Maastrichtian of The Netherlands.

The holotype of the type species is housed at IPB (Bonn) under no. 236, Goldfuss collection.

Classification

Diagnosis

Colonial, massive, plocoid. Gemmation due to extracalicinal budding. Corallites subcylindrical, united by a perithecal wall. Costosepta compact, arranged radially or bilaterally. Septal margins have rounded and triangular teeth. Columella lamellar. Endothecal dissepiments vesicular to subhorizontal. Wall septoparathecal.
