Diagnosis

Colony forming a cupolate corallum. Gemmation circumoral. Septa porous or subcompact, and covered with numerous granules and pennulae laterally. Synapticulae abundant. Columella feebly developed, trabecular, or absent. No wall between the corallites. Endothecal dissepiments sparse.
