Type Specimen: Holotype; ; Verified; Unknown

Type Locality: Santonian of France (Le Beausset, Var).

The holotype of the type species is housed at MNHN (Paris) under R.10925.

Classification

Diagnosis

Colonial, massive, plocoid. Gemmation extracalicinal. Corallites circular or elliptical, projecting. Costosepta compact, nonconfluent, beaded, radially or bilaterally arranged. Columella trabecular-lamellar. Endothecal dissepiments sparse, vesicular. Peritheca vesicular to subtabulate. Wall parasynapticulothecal, septothecal in places.
