Lophosmilia rotundifolia Milne Edwards and Haime, 1848, p. 247, pl. 5, figs. 3, 3a; Monotypy

Type Specimen: Holotype; MNHN ; Verified; Dry Preserved

Type Locality: andquot;Americaandquot;, depth unknown

Type species best described by Cairns (1979).

Classification

Diagnosis

Corallum solitary, ceratoid to trochoid, and attached; base polycyclic; septotheca costate; pali absent; columella papillose or an elongate fused mass.

Comparisons

Like Monohedotrochus but having a polycyclic base

Remarks
