Diagnosis
Like the nominal subgenus, but having an unattached, monocyclic base.
Remarks
This genus and family were monographed by Cairns (2001), which included a phylogenetic analysis based on morphology. 45 species, 40 of which are known as fossil (Cairns, 2001).
