Type Species

Type Specimen: Syntype; NHMUK R29182; Verified; Dry Preserved
Type Locality: Burdigalian–Upper Miocene of Pakistan (base of Gaj Group).
The holotype of the type species is housed at NHM (London) under R.29182
Diagnosis
Colonial, hydnophoroid. Gemmation intracalicinal. Corallites indistinct, arranged in sinuous series, confined by short tectiform monticules. Costosepta compact, non-confluent, finely granulated. Columella lamellar, thin, continuous. Wall septothecal. Endothecal dissepiments thin, subtabulate. Exothecal dissepiments large, vesicular to subtabulate.
