Type Specimen: Syntype; B626; Verified; Unknown

Type Locality: Recent; Lofoten, Norway, 548 m

Four syntypes. Type species deposited as Musee de oslo and best described by Zibrowius (1980).

Diagnosis

Corallum solitary, cupolate, free; septotheca horizontal, often concave, and thin and fragile; costae usually thin ridges; axial edges of septa irregularly dentate, laterally braced by thin T- or Y-shaped synapticular plates that extend upwards and outwards; five cycles of septa; dissepiments absent; paliform lobes sometimes present; columella feeble.
