Alcockia Eguchi, 1968, p. C63 is junior synonym (available and invalid), see Eguchipsammia Cairns, 1994, p. 85.

Also a junior homonym of Alcockia Goode and Beane, 1895 (a fish). Name replaced by Eguchipsammia (Cairns, 1994).

Type Locality: of Honshu, japan, 165 m

Lectotype designated by Cairns (1994). Type species best described by Cairns (1994).
