Type Specimen: Holotype; ; Not Traced; Unknown
Type Locality: Upper Albian (Fredericksburg Group) of Texas, USA.
The holotype is housed under BEG-21343 at TMM, Austin, TX.
Classification
Diagnosis
Solitary, turbinate or subcylindrical, fixed. Commonly with basal rootlets, septa few in number, compact, non-exsert, marginally and laterally granulated. Columella absent. Dissepiments absent. Wall internally thickened by stereome.
Comparisons
Shows similarities to Smilotrochus but has basal rootlets and a wall internally thickened by stereome.
