Astroitis Dana, 1846, p. 405 is junior homonym (unavailable), see Astroites Walch, 1775, p.42.

And a junior homonym of Astroites Walch, 1775 (a junior synonym of Montastraea). Dana referred to this genus as "Astroitis (Boccone)."
