Type Species

Type Specimen: Holotype; ; Not Traced; Unknown

Type Locality: Eocene (Priabonian) of Spain (Castelloli).

The holotype of the type species is housed at MSGB (Barcelona) (inventory number not provided in the original publication by Reig Oriol [1990]).

Classification

Remarks

According to Alvarez Perez (1993, p. 147 ff.), the type material of Hydnoseriatopora viai Reig Oriol, 1990, closely corresponds to Stylocoenia taurinensis (Michelin, 1842).
