Type Locality: Kimmeridgian (Astartien of Koby), Upper Jurassic from Bressaucourt, Hobel (Switzerland)
Classification
Description
From the syntypes. Phaceloid corallum with corallites irregular in outline. Rugose epitheca, no costae. Mode of increase not known. Radial elements compact, free (?), weakly curved rather constant in thickness. Septa not ornamented, no palis. Lonsdaleoid septa present. Microstructure unknown. Symmetry mostly radial difficult to decipher. Two zoned endotheca with a narrow marginarium made of vesicles. The inner endotheca seems to be constructed by wide steeply inclined dissepiments. Axial zone unclear apparently without columella, no synapticulae. Peripheral wall, moderately thick.
Remarks
Four nominal species known.
